Ce château s'élève sur un éperon rocheux qui domine le confluent du Guirros et du Ger.
Ce site, facile à défendre, était occupé par un château fort qui fut détruit et sur l'emplacement duquel le château actuel fut construit en 1845.
Cette solide bâtisse quadrangulaire est agrémentée de quatre tourelles élancées qui lui donnent une allure de château de conte de fées, dans un cadre boisé.
L'accès au château est privé et vous ne pourrez pas l'approcher.
Mais depuis la cache, vous pourrez bien le voir.
Si vous vous approchez du parc qui se trouve le long du Ger, au waypoint indiqué, vous verrez un joli petit pont qui a récemment été déterré.

The château stands on a rocky outcrop overlooking the confluence of the Guirros and the Ger.
This site, easy to defend, was occupied by a castle which was destroyed and the present château was built on the same location in 1845 .
The solid rectangular building is adorned by four slender towers that give it the appearance of a fairytale castle in a wooded area.
The access to the castle is private and you can not approach it.
But from the cache, you can see it well.
If you approach the park along the Ger, at the indicated waypoint, you will see a nice little bridge that was recently unearthed.
