This cache has been disabled for some time and as the owner has not repaired/replaced it, I am archiving it.
The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center.

Dare you find the Black Dog of Bouley Bay?
The Black Dog is a legend repeated in many a county in the UK, this is Jersey's own legendary hound.
There is more info within the Wherigo so I wont repeat it here!
This is a Wherigo cache with a stong puzzle element, get the puzzle wrong and you may do a lot more walking than you thought so pay attention!
The Wherigo makes use of hidden zones so you may not always know if where you are going is the right way, but chances are if you have walked for more than 15 minutes without something happening it is the wrong way!
Sound is recommended but not essential (however you may need to pay attention to your device).
I have walked the whole lot in under 2 hours, but then I knew where I was going!

As this is my first Whereigo (and, indeed, my first cache), I have put in a Trackabulldog geocoin as a FTF prize, and as an incentive to try my Wherigo!
I have tested with the Whereigo player and my HTC Dream (Android), but if you have any problems please email me via my Geocaching profile.
**UPDATE** Bugs with Garmin players have been (hopefully) fixed. I have been advised that the openWIG and Wheryougo (Android) players have problems with the fix, users of these will have to be within zones not just nearby for some features to work.
