I placed this cache as the sincerest form of flattery of the "Spirit of Recovery 1" cache in Grand Cayman. However, It has now disappeared for the second time so I am replacing it with a traditional container at the same location. It is no longer in plain sight, but will now have room for some nice SWAG.
The Spirit of Recovery 1 Cache was placed after Hurricane Ivan as a nod to the island's efforts to rebuild.
I named this cache the Spirit of Community as a tribute to how at home I feel in this neck of the woods. People are friendly and honest. I felt so welcome and at home here after leaving Manhattan. As a California girl transplanted to the East, I found NNJ like coming home. No West Coast California jokes please. The Chatham / New Providence / Berkley Heights/ Madison area has become my new home and I love the Spirit of Community I feel here. My girls would come to this spot daily if I let them so cache maintenance should be no problem.
