St Andrews church is situated in Haughton-le-Skerne and is the oldest church in Darlington, dating back to the 12th century.
The above co-ordinates are not the cache location, they are for one of the clues you will have to work out.
The cache is at N 54 AB CDE, W 001 FG HJK.
B = at both of the north entrances to the church yard you will find white signs; St Andrews church is circa 11B5.
A = at the east entrance to the church yard there is another sign;
Wednesdays Holy communion is at 9:A0.
F, C = Enter the church yard from the east entrance, on the left hand side of the path you will find a coffin shaped interment; John Shreaton died September C3 18F8 aged 44
H = at the above co-ordinates, you will find a head stone adorned with castle tops: Harrington died 28th December 182H. His daughter Mary died 26 November 1834 aged 35.
G, J = Follow the path a bit further on the right before the bench is a head stone up against the church wall; The Honourable and reverend Richard Byron was the rector from 1J95 to the 5th of November 181G.
E, K = Past the west end of the church you will find 2 cross shaped head stones close together; John Allan was born 21st of December 1K0E and died 20th of July 1960.
D = Go down the path and turn right, you will see a large grave stone that is being propped up; John Swinbank's wife was D2 when she died.
You can now insert the numbers you have found to get the co-ordinates for the cache GZ.
Please use stealth as children are quite often in or around the church yard. Sunday mornings aren't recommended either.
