Christchurch was formed in 1969 through the joining of three Hitchin churches: Brand Street Methodist, Queen Street Congregational and Nightingale Road Methodist Churches. Christchurch is one of the oldest Local Ecumenical Partnerships in Britain.
Christchurch is part of the Methodist and United Reformed Church and therefore connected with worldwide community of 125 million Christians. It is a lively church - if you call in during the week between 10am – 1pm on Tuesdays you are welcome to stop for a coffee, a chat or a space to pray. Sunday services are at 10.30am and also available on YouTube. Find out more from the church website
