Found this great spot with an awesome view of the entire Northgate Centre from the one end to the Dome on the opposite end. If you are lucky, you might even see some EMUS!
Mr GEO936 lived right next door to the additional parking area of North Gate for almost 20 years, before North Gate or the parking lot were built and knows this area like the back of his hand. The council purchased some of their property when Northumberland Rd was widened from a single lane to dual lanes. Mr GEO936 still remembers playing in the storm water tunnels under the road with skateboards! We have both watch North Gate being built and remember when it first opened all the way back in the early 90's!
From this vantage point you will notice the boundary between rural and urban settlement. It is hard to believe that the two can co-exist so close to one another. Opposite North Gate however, the old farm houses have been demolished already to make way for new town houses. You are standing at the edge of a growing city.
This is a quick roadside cache but please be very stealthy with regards to muggles. It is a rather busy road. Stop on the side and pretend to take photos of the view.
The property opposite the cache (with the green shade cloth) has some Emus.
