Geocache Description:

This is the sixteenth cache in my finite mathematical series. I am a math teacher by day. I thought a cache series dedicated to math would be a good way to educate the public.

Infinity, ∞, is not an ordinary number, it is more of an idea. The word comes from the Latin infinitas which means "unboundedness". Numbers have no bounds and infinity is used to represent that nature. The basic way to explain it is if we go to the beach, and ask how many grains of sand are in this area? Some people may say that is infinite, but that is untrue. We could find a precise number of grains by counting or a formula and while this number may be astronomically large, it is still a finite number. Infinity is a very hard concept to grasp.

To help you grasp the difference I have hidden a nano hidden in an area where the GPS signals may not help. While it may seem like an infinite number of places to search; I can assure the number is finite, just really large.

This cache is not located in the road.
No nuts need unscrewing. The cache is in plain sight.
Park at the Harbison Recreation Center (near Sum Things Up), and follow the Harbison Neighborhood Trail to the cache.
