THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE ABOVE
COORDINATES!
As our friend Criffree approaches that 2000 cache milestone, we
thought it appropriate to put out a few caches in his honor.
As most of his friends know, Criffree is a huge fan of music of all
different varieties. This love was born way back and no doubt
fueled by the music smorgasboard of the late 70's and early 80's.
Criffree was a product of those times having graduated from high
school in 1980. I can remember back in those days of sitting in my
room and listening to the radio. There were songs like "Sexy Eyes"
by Dr. Hook that gave us that funky sound and videos of a young
Michael Jackson in a sequined suit against a background laser as he
sang "Rock With You". There were also pop ballads like "We Don't
Talk Anymore" by the British mainstay Cliff Richard. About that
time a new wave of music was coming into popularity like "Call Me"
by Blondie. Then there was one of the greatest bands of all time
putting out the megahit protest song that turned out to be one of
the biggest hits of all time, "Another Brick in the Wall, Part II"
by Pink Floyd. And who will forget the pop anthem "Pop Muzik" by M?
And no matter what era you're in, there will always be a mix in of
the R&B sound, like "Upside Down" by Diana Ross which brought a
little of that soul into disco. Do you remember that sultry, raspy
songstress Kim Carnes and her rendition of "More Love"? It sounded
almost like a circus theme at the beginning. And one can never
forget the American staple of Rock n Roll, even if it did contain a
little bit of new wave and funk rolled in like Billy Joel's "It's
Still Rock and Roll To Me". And alas, we hadn't yet forgotten the
60's & 70's with the folksy sound of Dan Fogelberg as he
crooned "Longer". Ahhh, they just don't make music like that
anymore. Wait! Didn't your parents used to say that?
Anyways, enough reminiscing, Congratulations Criffree on
such a great milestone! "Keep your feet on the ground and keep
reaching for the stars."
You can validate your puzzle solution
with certitude.
