Number 1234 in the ‘Church Micro’ series. Visit the above coordinates to find the information needed to locate the cache.

St Mark’s parish church.

This Victorian place of worship was built in 1860 to the designs of noted architects Field and Hilton of Westminster. And was built by Mr. W. Carruthers, builder, of Reigate. is in the Early Decorated style The magnificent tall tower dominates the church which consists of a nave and chancel with aisles to both the north and south. The church still has many of its original features including the Lady Chapel and the organ chamber located above the outer vestry.

St. Mark's was opened and consecrated by the Lord Bishop of Winchester; the foundation stone having been laid by Earl Somers .

There is on street parking by the church but note the parking restriction times as the traffic wardens are very active in the area.

Stealth will be required in retrieving and replacing the cache as you will be in very exposed position.
