In looking at the maps of this area I had wondered what if anything
was at Tigert Spring. When the government locked up so much area I
thought maybe my delay in exploring had precluded me from ever
finding out.
Note: For those interested in knowing what areas are still
open/available/accessible after the Wilderness Initiative took
effect the following link will assist. Within this site you can
access several .pdf maps that will answer some of these
questions.

Tigert Spring has a corridor that will allow passage to the old
cabin with nice distant view overlooking Little Jacks Creek.
The cache is close the old cabin. No climbing or rock crawling
is required. After seeing so many rattlesnakes in the Owyhees I
have tried to be very selective in cache placement. The cache is a
small container in a shelter area under a rock ledge, at the base
of a sage.
Legalize: This is a remote area and anyone who ventures here
needs to be prepared as there are no amenities of any kind
including cell coverage.
Be prepared to rely on yourself.
