The Covenanters' Memorial at Deerness on the mainland of Orkney is situated on a commanding peninsula with steep cliffs to one side and rolling fields to the other.

This is a 35mm film cannister containing a log and pencil.
Walking boots are recommended.
This is a great location with stunning views, particularly of Shapinsay. This cache can be found in two ways. It can be approached from the nearby car park directly or it can be done as part of the Mull Head Circular walk. If it is done as part of the Circular walk the route is along cliffs, which are dangerous particularly in poor or very windy weather as the path runs close to the cliff edge in places.
