Ozolnieku ezers atrodas starp dzelzcela staciju Ozolnieki un
Jelgavas šoseju (P100). Ezera garums 600 metri, platums
200-400m, dzilums – lidz 8 metriem. Agrak šeit bija
maalu karjers, bet kad maali bija beigušies, 1977 gada
teritorija tika sakartota un izveidota udenskratuve.
Šodien Ozolnieku ezers ir peldeet gribeetaaju un
makškernieku iecienitaa vieta. Atpuutnieku vajadzibaam
ezeraa darbojas vienigaa Baltijas valstiis trošu sisteema
uudensslepotajiem un veikbordistiem, ir laivu noma, darbojas ari
jauna atrakcija „udensbumbas”.
Pirmais atradejs varees panemt sev keramisko medali, izgatavotu no
ezeraa dabuutaa maala.
---- Lake Ozolnieku is located between railroad station Ozolnieki
and Regional Road P100. Ozolnieku Lake is 600m long and 200-400m
wide. Maximal depth – 8 m. Previously there was
clay-extraction open pit mine at this place. Year 1977, after
mining was closed, there was arranged water basin and surrounding
territory has got cultivated. Today Ozolnieku Lake is one of the
the favorite recreation places for swimmers and fishermen. Here you
can try wakeboard and water-ski cable system which is the only one
this kind system in Baltics. Also it is possible to rent a boat or
try aqua zorbing. First cash finder will get ceramic medal made of
clay taken from the lake's bottom.
