OGA Day
Saturday, August 14, 2010
Join the Ontario Geocaching Association for some fun and
socializing at one of the many events being held throughout Ontario
to celebrate OGA Day.
The Ontario Geocaching Association was formed in 2004 and has a
membership of 1300+ and growing. OGA provides fun, information,
education and support to the Ontario geocaching community. For more
information or to join, visit http://www.ontgeocaching.com.
Come and join the Near North crew at the Emsdale Community
Centre from noon until 4 PM. Meet with other OGA members and
cachers in general for some socializing and friendship.
There will be prize draws for 1 unactivated OGA geocoin, one
free Premium membership in the OGA, and more to be announced
later.
Now added, 2 OGA t-shirts, car magnets, OGA pins and crests.
There are almost 300 published caches within a 30 mile radius of
this location, including one right at the site. Stay tuned for some
new caches being published nearby in time for the event.
Spend the day with other cachers that may or may not give you some
secrets. Learn who your nearby cache placers are, or who may be
available to join you on a hunt. We are out for fun, friendship,
education and just plain socialising. Meet with the local Executive
Director of the OGA. Let's have some FUN!
Please indicate your "will attend" as soon as possible.
Free will donations will be accepted on site to help cover the
cost of renting the sports field and the washrooms.
