Sveriges Nationaldag 6 juni
Sveriges nationaldag, även svenska flaggans dag, firas den 6
juni varje år och är sedan 2005 en helgdag i Sverige. Nationaldagen
firas till minne av dagen då Gustav Vasa utsågs till Sveriges kung
1523. Även 1809 och 1974 års regeringsformer utfärdades den 6
juni.Tidigare firades 6 juni som svenska flaggans dag och det var
först 1982 dagen fick status som nationaldag. Sedan 1996 är
nationaldagen även en salutdag.

The national day of Sweden, even the Swedish flag day, is
celebrated the 6th of june every year, and is since 2005 also a
holiday in Sweden. The national day is celebrated in the memory of
the day Gustav Vasa was appointed king of Sweden 1523. Even in 1809
and 1974 years Form of Government was issued the 6th of june.
Before the day 6th of june this day was celebrated as the Swedish
flag day, and it was first in 1982, the day got the status as
national day. Since 1996 the national day even is a salut-day.
