Our second series takes you from Amersham to Little Missenden and back by an alternative route. If you do the whole circuit (around five miles long), you can park at Dovecot Carpark in the Old Town at N 51°39.967 W 000°36.800. Caches 1-3 can be visited with a sturdy off-road baby buggy, after that it gets steep. Bring a map if you intend to do the whole circuit (you can't really get lost doing 1-3, but after that, you'll be better off knowing where the footpaths are).
A nice spot for our final cache - picked for the peace and the views. You are looking for a square box with room for a few swaps. Continuing on the path brings you back down towards Shardeloes and Amersham Old Town and the end of the series. You will be 0.65m from Mop End at this point - this suggests, if you don't want to do the full circuit, that you could park in Mop End and pick up the magnetic nano we've left there at the same time but please be careful where you park on the narrow road. You'll be about a mile and a half from Old Amersham.the origanal location was found exposed.
