Our second series takes you from Amersham to Little Missenden and back by an alternative route. If you do the whole circuit (around five miles long), you can park at Dovecot Carpark in the Old Town at N 51°39.967 W 000°36.800. Caches 1-3 can be visited with a sturdy off-road baby buggy, after that it gets steep. Bring a map if you intend to do the whole circuit (you can't really get lost doing 1-3, but after that, you'll be better off knowing where the footpaths are).
Little Missenden is a beautiful Chilterns Village, frequently used in filming. It's really worth taking the time to explore - lots of picturesque views and an interesting church with medieval wall paintings.
We have placed this cache in the middle of the village, where this is a playground and a pub (which seems to cover most bases!). You are looking for a small plastic egg.
If you are doing the whole circuit, you are still on the South Bucks Way at this point but will turn off for the next cache.
