ZVONICA
Vyšehradné v okrese Prievidza, je jedna z mála obcí na Slovensku, ktorá sa môže pochválit drevenou zvonicou zo zaciatku 19. storocia. Zvonica patrí k ojedinele zachovaným objektom ludového stavitelstva na Hornej Nitre. V tej vyšehradskej (ktorá má svoju zvonárku Micu) sa ešte aj dnes zvoní, nie však každý den.
Pôvodný zvon, tak ako mnohé iné, bol roztavený pocas prvej svetovej vojny. Ten súcasný, z roku 1828 s medailónom sv. Jozefa, vysoký 27 cm, visí na drevenej konštrukcii pod stanovou strechou, ktorú ukoncuje jednoramenný kríž. Zvuk zvona sa do okolia šíri zvukovými otvormi vo vežovitej nadstavbe. Tá je postavená na dvojmetrovom zrube štvorcového pôdorysu, ktorý tvorí desat radov kresaných trámov. Celá zvonica dosahuje výšku približne 7,5 metra. Nad vstupnými dverami len vnímavé oko nájde dnes už slabo citatelný nápis - AT IHS 1805. Objekt už nemá pôvodnú šindlovú strechu. Miestni obcania ju prostredníctvom svojej zbierky v roku 1960 nahradili pozinkovaným plechom....
