Since I've been caching for awhile now, I've decided it's time to start hiding my own caches and give back!! This cache was placed in honor of my first milestone (my 100th find) and is dedicated to my littlest sister, stereoparade, who introduced me to geocaching back in January.
The cache is placed in Kimball Hill Park, a place that is filled with many childhood memories for the both of us and is a great spot in Rolling Meadows that not many people know about unless you're a Meadows native.
This park is very busy in the spring/summer months, so stealth will be needed here. Many bikers, baseball games and BBQ's going on, and most of all, lots of teenagers loitering about during the daytime. There is plenty of legal parking near the cache site.
This cache has been placed with permission from the Kimball Hill School principal, although there is absolutely no reason to go near school property to get to the cache location. It is completely accessible from other areas. It is located at least a quarter of a mile from Kimball Hill School and is not near or on the property.
Since this is my first hide, any advice/feedback/comments/constructive criticism is welcome and appreciated, either through logs or a personal message.
Cache contains a log and pencil, but you may want to BYOP. There is a signal coin inside for the FTF. Please make sure to re-hide exactly as you found it so it won't be muggled... Happy hunting!!
