Come race around trying to find as
many items on the photo scavenger hunt list, and be the team to
come back with the most points.
Cachers will be given a list of
items they will need to find. These will not be items you will need
to gather, but rather get pictures of them. Each item will be worth
points, depending on the item, will depend on the points it is
worth. You do not need to find everything on the list, but the more
you find the more points you will get.
The list, and point’s value,
will be given out at the start location.
Here are the particulars for this
event:
How this will
work~
~ With your whole team, meet at
the posted coordinates at 1:00pm
~ Sign the log, get your team picture taken, get your special photo
hunt buddy
~ At 1:30pm we will give you the scavenger hunt list and the hunt
will start
~ You will be given 90 minutes to find, and take photos, of as many
items on the list as you can
~ When you find the item, take a picture of at least one person
from your team, holding the photo scavenger hunt buddy, with the
item. Your photo scavenger hunt buddy MUST be in every photo! The
item, team member and photo scavenger hunt buddy must be fully
shown in every photo for full points.
~ At 3:00pm, the end of the 90 minutes, meet back at the start
location, we will start going over the photos and adding up the
points. Then the winning team will be
announced.
Prizes~
Of course, there will be prizes!
There will be a special prize for the first place team provided by
the hosts. In addition, we ask that everyone bring a prize to
donate to the event in exchange for another prize. Each team member
will need to bring an item, so if there are 5 cachers on your team,
you will need to have 5 items to donate, one for each person. The
first place team will pick first, second place team will pick
second, and on down the list until everyone has picked a prize.
When deciding what to bring to donate, please bring something that
you would not mind getting as a prize.
In the event of a tie, the first team back, will be the team that
gets first.
What you will
need~
~ GPS
~ A digital camera
~ Motorized transportation
Teams~
You will create your own Team.
Each team must have at least two people, and no more than five
people. (we will make exceptions for children under the age of
10)
Please post if you plan on
playing, so we can have an idea how many teams we will have. If you
do not plan on playing, please come and visit with us at the end
and cheer on everyone who is playing.
