Geocache Description:

The boulder mound at Børaunen is considered one of the largest of its kind in northern Europe. The name of the area "Børaunen" comprises the mound of boulders called "raunen", and the peninsula to the south. The area is unique and it is an important preservation area for geology, birdlife, flora and cultural history.
An unusual cairn hike for two reasons. First, it runs along the coast. Second, there are twin cairns.

This is a very nice place for a day trip, here are historical sites, natural beuty and a very nice playground for the whole family. You may whant to bring a picnic and enjoy the long beach building sandcastles, catching crabs and feeling the wind in your face. It is a beutiful place for a long walk or jog alon the coastline as well.

The cache is hidden in a very stony area so make sure you have time enough to turn some stones.
