Geocache Description:

Street 'furniture' tends to be deliberately bland so I thought I'd brighten this particular piece up by hiding a cache close by.

In case you were wondering, the piece of street 'furniture' here now belongs to Openreach, a division of BT Group. Ninety seven percent of such boxes are simply large junction boxes for telephone line connections and house no other equipment.

Brighton and Hove City Council have introduced a novel scheme to help prevent the spread of graffiti. They encourage local residents to 'adopt' such boxes and paint out any graffiti as soon as it appears. You can read more about it at (visit link)

This cache is in an area of high muggle activity and stealth may be required. Parking is available in the nearby streets. The road near the cache can get fairly busy so please take extra care.
