Out headed to some of the oldest caches still left in the state I thought I might help encourage some others to head down this road to visit some of these caches. Always like to stroll in that tall timber and enjoy some of Oregon's beauty. Even in the early spring when the trails can still be a little muddy and here in the foothills of Mt. Hood can have some lingering traces of winter snow we find the green of spring flourishing. As the year goes on we'll enjoy the coolness of the shade of trees and as winter approaches the colors of fall and the first few inches of snow as geocaching hibernates under the layers of snow as it fall to depths which cradles the cache for another winter.
Lost and Hopefully Found
On the way up to the cache the OregonPirates found this lost baby coyote in the road. They didn't want him to get hit by a car so they moved him off the road where his mother could hopefully come and get him. Then came the photo shoot with a few pictures of course.
