Kraj je znan po tem, da je bila tu med 2. svetovno vojno postojanka, znano po mucenju in ubijanju partizanov. Po vojni so bile cerkev ter okoliške stavbe v spomin številnim žrtvam spremenjene v muzej.
V bližini cerkve je grobnica, kjer ležijo posmrtni ostanki 123 žrtev zlocinov in 56 borcev Cankarjeve brigade.
Urh is a hill (342 m) east of Ljubljana, near Bizovik. At the top there is a church st. Urh.
The place is known that there were outpost between 2 World War, known for torture and killing of partisans. After the war, the church and surrounding buildings were commemorate to the many victims turned into a museum. The church is near the tomb, where lay the remains of victims of torture.
