Souradnice vás dovedou až na místo, kde mezi obcí Osová Bítýška a místní cástí Osová leží asi sto metru od silnice v lesním ostruvku, schovaná zbežnému pohledu ze silnice Osová Bítýška-Vlkov, velká budova. Je to barokní sýpka z roku 1669, která prináležela k nedalekému zámku na Osové.
Objekt je trípodlažní o pudorysných rozmerech 38 x 12 metru. Strešní konstrukce je mansardového typu. Sýpka byla hospodárským zázemím nedalekého zámku a vždy tvorila dominantu krajiny.
Tato budova byla dlouho využívána jako skladište obilí. Se zmenou technologie skladování, tedy v dobe, kdy se precházelo na velkokapacitní sila, byla sýpka opuštena a pro svuj velmi špatný stavebne-technický stav mela být demolována.
Stavba nebyla využívána asi 10 let. V roce 1986 objekt zakoupili manželé Velkovi a zahájili rekonstrukci s respektováním jeho puvodního charakteru.
V roce 1991 vzniklo sdružení „Ateliér Sýpka " jako sdružení pro nekomercní cinnost na pomezí výtvarného a divadelního umení. V návštevní sezóne jaro-podzim se v galerii Sýpka konají výstavy umelecké tvorby.

The coordinates bring you to the place, where between two villages Osova Bityska and Osova you can find a large building hidden in the forest refuge. It is a baroque granary built in 1669 that appertained to the nearby Osova castle.
The granary is a three storey structure with a French roof and a floor space 38x12 metres. The granary served as a farm-out building of the nearby castle and has always been a dominating feature of the countryside.
For a long time this building had been used as a grain store. Folowing the storage technology development (move to high-density silos) the granary was abandoned and due to its bad technical status was supposed to be demolished. The building had not been used for a decade until it was purchased by a family of Velka in 1986. They started with a reconstruction respecting its original pattern.
In 1991 an "Atelier Sypka" association was established as a non commercial society in art and dramatic field. During a spring-autumn season the Sypka galery hosts various artwork exhibitions.
