Beacon Valley CACHE
This cache
is located in the central area of Qatar. This is an interesting
area from a landscape point of view and well worth a visit. A 4x4
vehicle is strongly recommended, but a soft roader SUV-type will
also do if you take it easy. It can be done en route to a number of
other caches in the central Southern Region. There is also a great
view across the valley.
"Sheikh Mobarak Abdulrahman Al Thani" is what is written on the
concrete beacon - thanks to mrunte who had it
translated.]
During
weekends, especially in the winter month, you will find people out
and about in this area. It is very popular for general off-road
driving of various degrees of difficulty - that will depend on you.
