Re discovering a footpath #4 - where the horses are |
Some years ago it was an enjoyable walk along a footpath from
the top of Manorville Road in Apsley, which would take one past
Great Wood and Phasels Wood and come out at Rucklers Lane. With
theconsiderable development in this area, I somehow lost the
footpath.Recently I realised that part of my walk used to be where
the road crosses over the A41T and continues the other side of the
bridge, easily accessible from Featherbed Lane. |

Another small cache is hidden a bit further along this pathway
with meadows on one side where horses are kept. A delightful walk
towards Great Wood and Phasels Wood, the site of a Scout and
Activity camp. The path can become muddy after considerable
rain. |
