St Michael and All Angels, Gussage St Michael
The church has walls of flint and marble with ashlar dressings and some ashlar stone. The lower part of the tower is Norman. Inside the church the restored Norman tower arch has plain glass. The archades are Early English, the aisle Perpendicular and the chancel Victorian. Crosses carved on the uprights of the north door are believed to have been made by Crusaders.
Old bells hung in the church tower are dated 1350. Two of them, cast in the year Queen Elizabeth I died, bear inscriptions 'Feare God' on one and 'Hope well' on the other.
