SideTracked caches are designed to provide quick cache n' dashes' for Rail travellers at Railway stations, although in reality anyone can do them.
Chorley station in Lancashire lies halfway between Bolton and Leyland, it has changed quite a bit and recently had a big facelift with the old derelict signalbox that was here for many years now having been flattened, The railway station is a modern 1980s built on top of the original station, the level of which can be seen under the existing station's two platforms connected by underpass. A level crossing, no longer in use, is still in place at the station entrance as well as a pedestrian subway which emerges at the foot of the Railway Pub.
Trans Pennine Express and Northern trains serve the station, with trains going to Manchester, Manchester Airport, Blackpool, and Glasgow/Edinburgh as well as other smaller local stations inbetween.
The station is handy for all the local shops and of course pubs, of which there are some really good ones nearby
