From Canalside Climb, continue along the towpath until you reach
Turner's Bridge. Leave the towpath and take the road to your left
(East). The roadway here is sometimes gated to block vehicular
access but it is a public footpath and there is a gap you can walk
through.
Note: this cache is not accessible from the railway.
There is quite a distance between Canalside Climb and here,
necessitated by the presence of other nearby caches. If you have
not yet done so a short diversion from the canal towpath will allow
you to seek
Leicester Round West.
This series, Burgo & Beans, is a gentle stroll of a little over
7 miles between Newton Burgoland and Barton in the Beans. Uses
public footpaths, including part of the Leicestershire Round, and a
stretch of the Ashby-de-la-Zouche Canal towpath. Mostly easy
walking with no steep inclines.
