The beach of Agios Theologos is one of the remote beaches of the island though well known by insiders and windsurfers. Its found in a distance of 45 km from Kos town and 7 km from the village of Kefalos on a good asphalt road and not difficult to reach. You will enjoy the rough nature in the western part of the island, which is uninhabited but used by the local farmers as a pasture ground for their goats.
The coastline is rocky with small sandy or pebbled beaches and it will never be crowded.
Once you pass the taverna its only a short drive along the coast to the church of Agios Theologos, where you should park and walk to the cache. Its well worth because of the beautiful view. On clear days you can see the island of Astipalia in the distance.
Good shoes are required, because the last few meters are a bit tricky.
The taverna of the same name is a good deal and worth a visit, especially for sunset.
