Guidelines for this series are below:
1. FTF'er should place the next cache in the series (in this case,
The Curse of the FTF #3) within 1 month... Otherwise the curse will
prevent you from ever getting another FTF again!!!
Muhahahahahahahaha!
2. You can only be a FTF for this series once. This spreads the FTF
love around, and gives others a chance to play along.
3. Cache can be any type of cache (Puzzle, Multi, etc.), but it
should be set within the county of Surrey.
4. You must include this set of guidelines in your listing for the
series.
By way of clarification, there is no requirement besides the
standard signing of the cache log to prevent you from logging this
cache when found. Everyone should log their find, and hopefully the
FTF person will play along and place another cache, but it is in no
way a requirement for logging your find.
The series so far...
1. Welchman (GC27QX6)
2. North Downs Way(GC27YRA)
3. Cabbage Stalk Town(GC2909J)
Right on to the cache itself!
The North Downs way runs from Canterbury to Farnham, covering
156 miles of footpath. It opened in1978 and runs through the Surrey
Hills and Kent Downs. The highet point is Botley Hill near Oxted
and reaches a height of 268.8 m (882 ft) - this makes it the third
highest hill in Surrey. Most of the current North Downs Way was
once the Pilgrims way from the shortest part of the channel in
Dover, to Stonehenge in Avebury. Despite its name, the Pilgrims way
was formed naturally in the Stone Age. It is an ancient trackway
which archaeologists have found to be dated back to 450 - 500 BC.
