BW 4: And I NEVER Slice! Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

GeoRedheads: Sad day for GeoRedheads -- but it's time to archive the Caddyshack Series. It's been a lot of fun, but it's a lot of maintenance. One of the challenges of hiding caches near golf courses is that there are people hired to maintain the courses, who take a different view of little plastic containers hidden within 100' of their finely maintained landscape.

Opening the space up for other caches -- enjoy!

Geocache Description:

Welcome back to Bushwood Country Club, 4th Tee, Par 4, 310 Yard: Stainless micro pill caddy @ Boundary Oaks Golf Course

I'll bet you a hundred bucks you slice it into the woods.
Gambling is illegal at Bushwood sir, and I NEVER slice.
[Swings club, slices ball into woods]
*Damn*.
OK, you can owe me.

In honor of Caddyshack’s 30th Anniversary, we introduce the Bushwood Memorial Cache series, hidden near golf courses around the East Bay. Back in 1980, Caddyshack was an instant classic, insanely silly and sophomoric, but packed with star power comedians of the era, and dozens of classic one-liners that still get laughs today.

To join the Caddy Tournament, find any of the first 18 Bushwood caches. Solve the front 9, in any order you choose, do the same for the back 9, and collect invitations for the 19th hole Leaderboard payoff! It’s not going to be easy, there’s a lot of caches to find, but if you’re like me, you’ll be giggling the whole way.

This cache, when found will have a letter identifier (e.g. Z=3) which can be used later to find the tee for the 9th hole. Make sure to have your caddy write the letter down on your scorecard, and replace your divots when you’re done.

This is a small cache, stainless pill caddy, along fence line, containing log only. BYOP. Reliable coords were difficult to take, due to tree cover.
