NativTxn realized that too few of the local GeoFolk actually knew each other and arranged a Meet N Greet through Facebook

What do GeoFolk do when they get together? First, we find a cute park, with some nice playground equipment for the kids, picnic tables in the shade (for us), and some nice walking trails going back into the countryside.

Then we put together a cache. A nice, big cache. With lots and lots of travel bugs and trackable items and fun things for you and your kids to find.

Enjoy the playground equipment. Bring out a picnic. Grill some food out here. Then walk back on the walking trails and find our cache. Help us move these travel bugs across the US and maybe even across the globe.

If you haven't had enough walking, there are some unpaved trails at the back of the park. The GeoFolk didn't finish exploring them, but that doesn't mean you can't. And what is up with the pond right outside the park? Who knows what interesting things you might find going on back there!

The cache is a tall lock n lock container covered with camo tape. It is close to the paved trail, and just a little bushwhacking is involved.

The cache as well as the gathering was organized by NativTxn. It was placed by NativTxn, AgNav, DrJinx, JJball, 2LilCritters, The Merrymen. Retired was with the group earlier, but he had to leave before we hid the cache. Geocaching.com trackables and GeoKrets are welcome in this cache.
