The original cache has gone missing, so i have re-located the cache a short distance away and updated the clue.
This is a 5 mile circular walk starting at Bluebell Hill picnic site which is part of the North Downs Way, and the view from here are awesome. The area is a local hotspot for walkers, or just people coming to enjoy the views.
This walk is suitable for the whole family with lots to see on route. Geohounds would love this walk, although there is one path that goes through woods adjacent to a field that sometimes has friendly horse’s in. At the time of placing these caches, the woods were smothered in Bluebells. Passing by ancient monuments will make this a historical walk. I have chosen to walk this route in a clockwise direction to avoid the long, steep haul up the hill, going down is a lot easier for the younger ones, with the final stretch back to the car up the gentle slope of Bluebell Hill.
This is a series of three regular caches that can be completed in their own right, but do contain clues that are needed for the final cache. However, to get to the final cache you also need to visit other locations on route to gather additional information. All regular caches are either micro or regular in size. No pens have been left in any, so please make sure you bring your own, and please re-hide as found. Don’t forget to collect the clues from each cache and waypoint.
The rating of this cache reflects the series, and not individual caches. The whole walk should take no more than 2 hours, unless you stop to admire views and look at the history.
