Die Karlskirche ist die dem Heiligen Karl Borromäus geweihte Klosterkirche des benachbarten Servitenkonvents. Dieser erste barocke Zentralbau Nordtirols wurde 1620 vom bekannten Arzt und Universalgelehrten Hippolyt Guarinoni gestiftet und auch geplant. Mit einer Mittelkuppel und drei Seitenapsiden wird die Dreifaltigkeit symbolisiert. Der Turm wiederholt den Grundriss der Kirche. Das Innere wurde im 18. Jht. im Rokokostil umgestaltet. Heute ist die Kirche beliebt für Hochzeiten.

The Karlskirche belongs to the nearby monastery of the Servite Order and is consecrated to Saint Charles Borromeo. The construction of this church in Baroque style was started in 1620. A central cupola with three side apses symbolises the trinity. The floor plan of the tower follows the same principle. Nowadays a lot of marriages take place in this church.
