NO: Voss stasjon er den viktigste jernbanestasjonen i Voss kommune
i Hordaland. Den ligger på Bergensbanen og var endestasjon da Gamle
Vossebanen ble åpnet i 1883. Murbygningen som er der i dag ble
tegnet av Paul Due i 1907. Da Bergensbanen til Oslo ble åpnet av
Kong Haakon VII i 1909 fant den offisielle markeringen sted ved
denne stasjonen. Stasjonen ligger ved Voss sentrum, på nordøstre
kant av Vangsvatnet på en høyde av 56,5 meter over havet.
Stasjonen var tidligere utgangspunktet for sidelinjen
Hardangerbanen som gikk til Granvin men dette sporet ble nedlagt
for passasjertrafikk i 1985 (og helt nedlagt i 1989). De fleste
lokaltogene vest på Bergensbanen som går lengre enn Bergen-Arna har
sitt endestopp ved Voss, selv om noen lokaltog går videre til
Myrdal.
EN: Voss is the main train station in Voss municipality in
Hordaland. It is located on the Bergen Line and was the terminus
when the Old Voss Line was opened in 1883. The building that is
there today was designed by Paul Due in 1907. When the railway from
Bergen to Oslo was opened by King Haakon VII in 1909 took the
official commemoration place at this station. The station is
located at the center of Voss, on the northeastern edge of
Vangsvatnet at a height of 56.5 meters.
The station was previously the basis for the sidelines Hardanger
railway that went to Granvin but this track was closed to passenger
traffic in 1985 (and completely closed in 1989). Most local trains
west of the Bergen Line that runs longer than the Bergen-Arna has
its end stop at Voss, although some trains continuing to
Myrdal.
