Geocache Description:

A short walk from a convenient parking area at the bottom of Nordy Bank will lead you to this cache!

The cache is hidden approximately a quarter of the way up the path.

You are looking for a small, round clip and lock container which contains a log book and balloon. Unfortunately there is no pen/pencil so please remember to bring your own!

After retrieving continue up the footpath to Nordy Bank- Iron Age Cache.

This cache is the first in a loop which takes in the Iron Age hill fort of Nordy Bank and the village of Clee St Margaret. The loop contains 11 caches in total and the series is listed below:

> The Iron Age Loop- 1
> Nordy Bank- Iron Age Cache
> The Iron Age Loop- 2
> The Iron Age Loop- 3
> The Iron Age Loop- 4
> The Iron Age Loop- 5
> Shropshire Church Gems- Clee St Margaret
> The Iron Age Loop- 6
> The Iron Age Loop- 7
> The Iron Age Loop- 8
> The Iron Age Loop- 9

All caches are small, round clip lock containers with a log book and 1 swappable item. Unfortunately there are no pen/pencils in the caches SO PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN!

Parts of the loop can get quite muddy at times and may become over grown in the summer so please come prepared! WELLIES ARE ESSENTIAL!

Beware of muggles! The footpaths are popular with walkers so please do your best to be inconspicuous.

PLEASE NOTE that there are no caches hidden on top of the protected hill fort. However, we highly recommend that you visit the top for some amazing views.

ALSO NOTE that the loop involves tackling 3 stiles and therefore may not be too dog friendly. 2 of these stiles however can be avoided if you miss out the Shropshire Church Gems Cache. If you choose to do this, after retrieving number 5 walk through the village untill you come to the ford on your left.
