Geocache Description:

Whitchurch is the only town in Shropshire on an original Roman Site. The Roman fort of 'Mediolanum' ('town in mid-plain') was a day's march between Chester (Deva) and Wroxeter (Viroconium).

Parking will not be a problem with this one, as it's in a car park. Don't just drive through for this one there is a nice town centre to check out and the Heritage Centre just around the corner for you history buffs. (Plenty of Hiking routes listed there too.)

Watch out for Muggles so many about, you'll have to be really stealthy with this one!!!

This Cache is in a 35mm white container, holding a log book and pencil.
