Geocache Description:

A pleasant walk through the Cambridgeshire countryside along paths (including part of the Pathfinder route) near the village of Knapwell. Route can be muddy after rain.

View near the cachesite

This is series of simple(ish) caches along pleasant footpaths near the village of Knapwell around farmland and woodland. This cache is on the edge of a bluebell wood and they bloom around the end of April. This part of the circular route is along the 46 mile Pathfinder route. The series provides lovely views of the countryside.

The short loop is about 2.5 miles long or you can lengthen it by heading towards Childerley (about 4 miles) and pick up a couple more caches.

Watch out for nettles and possibly brambles in the summer months.

The Cache

The cache is a smallish camouflaged vitamin container with a logbook, pen, small swaps etc. It only has room for small swaps or trackables. Please ensure you hide it back securely where you found it. You do not need to go into the wood beyond the initial tree line to find the cache.

Stealth may be required down this path as dog walking muggles use it.

The path at this point is stroller friendly although I would suggest the rugged models only. Sections of the path can be muddy after rain.
