Geocache Description:

200,000 acres of rainforest are burned every day in the world.  Unfortunately, these tree climbing monkeys who have flourished in the forest for years are now being forced into the city. They are ravaging through the city trying to survive, looking for food and shelter.  Their instinct cannot be stopped.  An urban environment brings along many issues for these animals.  The worst enemy to these monkeys are muggles.  Monkeys have no option but to hide and avoid site of these people at all time.  This is crucial to their survival, but difficult.  The only advice that can be given is they must ADAPT.

The Urban Experience is an ongoing series of high terrain caches.  These caches are not intended for everyone.  All the stages with a terrain rating 3.5 and above will require a great deal of mental and physical abilities.  But feel free to go to the location and spot the cache.    I am 5'7", didn't bring any extra equipment when placing this series (unless noted), and utilized no special shoes or gloves.

Monkey Madness!!!

*this cache is not intended for the mentally and physically inept

Note:

*Monkey's have no time constraints, but it is recommended to attempt this cache either early morning (6am ) or later in the evening (7pm), to avoid all potential encounters, and to have the most enjoyable experience.

A couple rules and words of advice:

  • If you can't replace the cache properly, please do not remove it.

  • Only the people who have physically gotten to the geocache can log it.  Others can definitely write a note on the cache page.

  • Several geocaches in this series are in high muggle areas, I suggest completing those when no one is around.  Perhaps a rainy day or something.

  • Only attempt geocaches that you feel are within your limits

WARNING: You are responsible for all of your actions when attempting this geocache.
