The cache is in a small black plastic box that used to serve as a bicycle flat repair kit. Inside you will find a
Log book, Pencil, Mini toy car, Mini Dice, Mini sunscreen, Bandaid, and a Golden dollar coin.
Remember that this is a mini cache so plan your swaps accordingly.
To reach the cache take the Palm Springs Areal Tramway to the Mountain Station. Walk out the back doors and hike down the cement path to it's end. Follow the sign to the Ranger Station and fill out the mandatory Wilderness Permit. They are free! Follow the hiking trail from the Ranger Station West for approx. .1 mile. Take the trail to the left and follow it for approx. .6 mile. Anywhere in this area you can take off cross country to find the cache. I want this to be an adventure so I'll not give a lot of detail.
The cache is hidden in a curious horizontal wedge cut, 3 feet above the ground on a Lodgepole Pine.
