Geocache Description:

Near Keystone Lake Dam. Park on NW side of dam and start following trail around lake.

Container is now a painted large plastic jar. Please take care to rehide the cache well after you have found it.

The area can become very leaf covered as the seasons change. There appears to be a good chance for the usual critters in the warmer months: snakes, ticks, mosquitos.

Original contents of the original 12 x 12 tupperware: Music CD, Computer Game CD, Flashlight (no batteries), Paperback Book, Guest Book w/ Waterproof Camera, SuperBall, & drink Koozie.

During November to March, on the "river" side of the dam, Bald Eagles roost for the winter. Early in the morning it's great to watch them feed on fish. So after the short trek to the cache, drive over to the NE side of the dam and look across the river for Bald Eagles. Jan 2001, I spotted approximately 12 Eagles.

Have fun!
