I have had the
pleasure of cooresponding with some fellow cachers from this area,
who have been so kind to aid me in getting this event rolling.

As you may know,
Geocaching is celebrating its 10 year anniversary! You can check it

link. I am traveling over 3000 miles on business for training
during this time period, and I really wanted to attend one of these
special "10 Years" events, maybe even host one. So with the help of
some really awesome cachers living in this area, we have THIS
event! I have been informed that this is a large restaurant capable
of handling geocachers up to 50 strong. To make this an official
"10 Years" event, we need 10 people to attend.
**UPDATE: As
my note below states, I will not be arriving into Gottingen until
early Monday morning, due to modifications in my travel itinerary.
As such, I will not be able to attend my own event on Sunday. With
this in mind, I decided that we should extend this event into the
next day, when Dave Ulmer placed the first geocache 10 years
ago.
What does this mean for you? You can attend the event either
May 2nd and/or May 3rd at the same location, at 17:00 (as stated
above). Remember, for this event to count as a 10 Years Icon, we
need at least 10 people to sign the log!

Ihr vielleicht wisst, feiert Geocaching dieses Jahr seinen 10.

link. Ich bin während den Feierlichkeiten auf einer
Geschäftsreise über 4800 km von zu Hause entfernt, wollte aber
nichtsdestotrotz an einem "10 Jahre" Event teilnehmen, oder sogar
selber eines organisieren. So kam mit der Hilfe zweier netter
Cacher aus der Region DIESES Event zustande. Mir wurde gesagt, dass
dieses Resaturant groß genug ist um 50 Geocacher zu bewirtschaften.
Um dieses Event ein offizielles "10 Jahre" Event zu machen, müssen
mindestens 10 Leute dabei sein.
