Geocache Description:

Gooram Falls is an attractive spot just outside Euroa on the Merton Road. The name comes from the fact that this cache has been recycled from "15 years in the making" at Torquay.

Not too far from juc_cacher's 1st cache in this area, this is our 5th hide. With 379jonti379's permission, we have recycled his cache and swaps that had to be archived when council closed access and added a new log.

There are 2 picnic areas at Gooram and this cache is in the "Upper" one. Don't go too fast, or you'll miss the unobtrusive turnoff, if you're not using waypoints.

There is plenty of parking and some fireplaces, but be responsible in your wood gathering.

This area is close to the end of the protected waters that start at "A fish called Polly", but fishing is still not allowed here. The rocky cascades look their best when the creek is flowing strongly.

Snakes will be very common down along the river in summer, but may not be too bad around GZ, however, as always, caution is advised when the weather is warm.

The cache is a short walk from the car park in a place where you can get a nice view. The longer walk down the creek to the lower reserve is nice, but keep an eye out for Joe Blake in summer.

Cache is a 1L Sistema with some swaps recycled from "15 Years in the making". For the FTF there's an unactivated dog-tag TB. I would love to know when that gets activated please.
