heroes of frist and second world war / Keška je umiestnená v
malom parcíku v obci Cachtice v blízkosti "Pomníku padlých", kotrý
je venovaný hrdinom prvej a druhej svetovej vojny. Po odlovení sa
môžete obcerstvit v Pizzerii "Bathory" v centre obce. / Once
caught, you can have a rest in the Pizzeria "Bathory" in the center
of the village.
Obec Cachtice sa rozprestiera na mieste, kde sa považský
výbežok Podunajskej nížiny stretáva s pohorím Malých
Karpát na rozlohe 3257 ha. Obec leží 7 km vzdialená od
okresného mesta Nové Mesto nad Váhom a má v súcasnosti 3660
obyvatelov. Prvá písomná zmienka o obci je v listine Belu IV. z
roku 1248. V stredoveku boli Cachtice mesteckom, mestské výsady
dostali v r. 1392. V Cachticiach sa snúbi dávnoveká história smutne
preslávená zlocinmi majitelky Cachtického hradu - Alžbety
Báthoryovej, s významným, dejinným krokom štúrovcov -
poslednou IV. sednicou literárneho spolku Tatrín, kde sa úcastníci
dohodli na uzákonení spisovnej slovenciny. Kým po krvilacných
výcinoch Báthorycky zostali už len ruiny jej panstva,
historická fara s pamätnou tabulou, kde sa stretnutie konalo, nám
stále pripomínajú udalost, tak významnú pre celý Slovenský
národ.
Cachtice village is situated at the place where the Danube lowland
Povazsky ledge meets the Small Carpathian Mountains area of 3257
ha. The village is situated 7 km away from town Nove Mesto, and now
has 3,660 inhabitants. The first written mention in the document of
King Béla IV. from 1248 In the Middle Ages were Cachtice town, the
town received privileges in the year 1392nd In antiquity Cachtice
combining history notorious crimes of the owner Cachtice Castle -
Elizabeth Bathory, a significant, historical step štúrovcov
- last IV. sednicou Tatrín literary club, where participants agreed
on the enactment of the Slovak literary language. While the slate
bloodthirsty Báthorycky remained only the ruins of her estate, a
historic parish with a commemorative plaque, where the meeting took
