Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Gold Star series final

Graduation Day - "Foundations"

LM

If you are ready to do this one you would have completed 10 puzzles located around the Burnaby Lake and surrounding regions, consisting of varying styles and difficulty, earning you the right to complete this series and get the elusive grand cache of the series

This cache requires that you get two clues from each of the 10 puzzles you have solved and visited.

One clue is given to you when you have successfully solved each puzzle and will look something like this:

This clue is needed to unlock the cryptex, you will note that on the cryptex  there are only letters on it so you will need to figure out what the symbols (glyphs) mean and how you can transpose each one into a letter.

The other clue is a 5 digit number which is  located in each of the 10 cache containers (two copies one in the lid and the other in the logbook).  You will need to record this number from each cache while on site.

Please note that before you go to the final having solved all 10 puzzles you should would have been able to determined the password code for the cryptex.  You should not attempt the final without this pass code for the cryptex.

Inside the cryptex is where you will find the log book to sign and initially 10 unique beads representing 10 prizes to be awarded after the first 10 finds are done.

I have since added a swag container into the cache that you can use to drop geocoins, small TB's, and other geoswag.

Here is a picture of the cryptex you will be working with

Here is the container you are looking for that holds the cryptex

Here is a picture of the cache container, the cryptex open, showing you the covenant 10 bead prizes and log book

Below is the list of all the stages you need to get to the final and what you need to do to get the final location.  Remember that each puzzle will reveal a clue to you when you have solved it that you will need to open the cryptex.  The cache requires no forcing of any kind, but you will need to prepare yourself with the key that will open the cryptex and this work can and should all all be done before hand in the comforts of home before you go to the cache site.

A special thank you goes to Soxter & Billini for the design and help with building the final cryptex and cache container.
I am sure that he will enjoy reading all your logs as much as I will.
