jjjohnst: Sorry all... cache was lost during the construction at Lake Royal. Now buried under several feet of limbs and trees and has been impossible to relocate. Thanks to the hundreds of you that logged a visit to this cache over the years!

Cub Scouts Love Geocaching!! This cache is located in Lakeside Park, a fairly easy stroll just off the main trail that goes around Lake Royal. The cache is a regular sized ammo box that should be a quick find for everyone. Enjoy!
Den 5, Cub Scout Pack 1967 of Fairfax created this geocache as a part of their recent Cache In Trash Out event where we learned about GPS and geocaching while helping clean up the area around Lake Royal. For many of the kids, it was their first exposure to geocaching, and the whole group had a ton of fun. The cache was started with a number of toys and a trackable Scouting geocoin.
Please don’t forget to sign the log, and the kids of Den 5 will be watching this cache over the next several months to see how many visits we get!
