The Moor is 41.9 hectares and is a designated SSSI. It has over 130 different types of plants. The Moor is also popular with local residents and walkers, a number of activities take place with permission such as flying remote control planes.
That said you probably won't need too much stealth as we've never found the Moor to be busy during our walks there. In fact there are times when there is no-one around and it can be quite a haunting and beautiful place.
