Kleiner Naturcache mit Blick auf die Skyline von Mümmelmannsberg.

Von hier aus habt Ihr einen Blick vom holsteinischen Havighorst auf die Skyline von Mümmelmannsberg, eine in den 1970ern errichtete Großsiedlung. Nur häßliche Hochhäuser könnte man meinen. Aber im Stadtteil tut sich was. Viele Jugendeinrichtungen, Sportvereine und Initiativen bemühen sich, daß der Stadtteil seinen schlechten Ruf als Großstadtghetto loswerden kann.

Mümmelmannsberg liegt am Rand des Hamburger Stadtgebietes. Bis 1928 gehörte das Gebiet zum Dorf Kirchsteinbek, danach zur selbständigen Gemeinde Billstedt im Kreis Stormarn, 1938 wurde es Hamburg eingemeindet. Der Cache liegt auf Holsteiner Territorium. Die Grenze zwischen Hamburg und Schleswig-Holstein verläuft 200 Meter westlich jenseits des Ackers in nordsüdlicher Richtung.

Am Final stören vor allem die Autos, sonst höchstens ein paar Mümmelmänner und Piepmätze die Idylle^^ Bitte gebt auf den regen Straßenverkehr acht!
Leider wurde Cheepy abgeschraubt und gestohlen, der Cache ist logbar, aber nicht mehr niedlich.

From this place you have a sight from Havighorst in Holstein over the skyline of Mümmelmannsberg ("hare hill"), a tower block area build in the 1970s. You could consider this district to be an ugly concrete jungle. But it's progressing well there: A lot of youth facilities, sport clubs and initiatives are working on disposing the quarters bad reputation as a deprived area.

Mümmelmannsberg is on the outskirts of Hamburg. Until 1928 the area belonged to the village Kirchsteinbek, then to the municipality Billstedt in the district Stormarn. 1938 it was suburbanized to the City of Hamburg. The cache is located on the territory of Schleswig-Holstein. The exact line of the border between Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein runs 200 meters westward beyond the field in north-south direction.

At the final many cars and sometimes a few hares and dickeys bother the idyll^^ Please watch the traffic!
