Geocache Description:

There aren't enough challenging puzzle cache's around these parts so I thought I’d set some up. More to follow.

The cache is not at the location listed!

I found this page from an ancient diary in an antique shop.
It read as follows...

An eVentful Journey by Emilio Mola...

So if I am to seek, find
and infiltrate, & then set
adrift the enemy PIRATE
craft then I need a ship
of my own. But where am I
to look? Holbrook Creek is
due NORTH of my location.
Where better place to try?
N180°, "about turn!"

I suffered that night. My
inspired idea of cooking
GOLDFISH for supper was
not the best idea. All I
had yesterday was a raw
emu EGG and a stale slice
of DINGO meat. The fish,
being twenty days old, had
flesh that tasted of BILE.
Chest-pains meant I didn't
DOZE.

Outdoor life really isn't
the nicest experience when
you encounter the HORRORS
of especially poor food
and EVIL weather. The rain
it eventually stopped, but
there was then the problem
of one-hundred thousand
airbourne MOSQUITOS all,
beyond doubt, wanting to
desperately DEVOUR me.
  11 November
Advanced towards the river
but error! We miss harbour
by 9°

Again, my calculations are
considerably innacurate.
Inconsistency had plagued
our earlier TRIPS. Again,
lost.

An uneventful journey,
bearing EAST along the
expansive estuary. Finally
at ten-thirty we arrive.
Avast! We chose a SHIP
offshore and waded out to
the rowing boat nearest
to beach. But first we hid
our endangered BOOTY. Our
chest must not fall into
old Widdershins’ hands. If
discovered all would be
lost.
